Privacy Policy

This page explains what information I collect on this website, how I use it, and the choices you have. The short version: I use your information to help you with your real estate goals. I never sell it, and I never share your phone number or texting consent for anyone else's marketing.

Who I am

This website, vegashomes.vegas, is run by Andres Jensen, a REALTOR with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties, Nevada License S.0205159. When this policy says "I", "me", or "my", it means Andres Jensen. "You" means anyone who visits this site or contacts me through it.

What I collect

Information you give me

The contact form on this site asks for your name, email address, and phone number (phone is optional). It also asks what you're interested in, like buying, selling, or new construction, and lets you add a message. If you check the optional text message box, or tell me by phone or in person that it's OK to text you, I keep a record of that consent and the date you gave it.

If you call, text, or email me directly, I keep what you send me so I can reply and follow up.

Home search, home value, and listing alert tools

The "Search homes for sale", "What's my home worth?", and "Get new listings by email" links on this site take you to tools hosted by RealScout, a real estate software company I use. Those tools may ask for your name, email, phone number, a password to create an account, your home address, and your search preferences. RealScout shares that information with me so I can help you, and RealScout also handles it under its own privacy policy and terms.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, some basic technical information is collected when you visit:

  • Hosting. This site is hosted by Netlify. Their servers record standard request information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, to deliver and protect the site. Netlify may also add a small script to the page that can save a setting in your browser.
  • Fonts. The fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
  • Cookies and analytics. The main pages of this site do not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking. The RealScout tools linked above use their own cookies and analytics (including PostHog) and map services. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How I use your information

  • To reply to your message or request.
  • To provide real estate services, like setting up searches, sending listings, preparing a home value review, scheduling showings and consultations, and helping you through a purchase or sale.
  • To call, text, or email you about your request and the services you asked about. I only text you if you agreed to receive texts.
  • To keep records my brokerage and the law require.
  • To keep this website working, secure, and free of spam.

Text messages (SMS)

I only text you if you've agreed to it. You can agree by checking the optional text message box on my contact form, by texting me first, or by telling me on a call or in person that it's OK to text you. Checking the box is never required to send the form.

What I text about

I use texts to reply to your real estate questions, confirm appointments and showings, send reminders, let you know about schedule updates or important changes, send new listings that match what you asked for, and keep you updated during your purchase or sale.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Data will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging terms

  • Opt out any time. Text STOP. I'll send one text confirming you've been unsubscribed, and after that you won't get more texts from me. If you want to join again, sign up the same way you did the first time, or reply START.
  • Get help. If you're having trouble with texts, reply HELP, email andres.jensen@bhhsnv.com, or call (702) 720-6796.
  • Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Rates and frequency. Message and data rates may apply for messages I send to you and messages you send to me. Message frequency varies. If you have questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
  • Not required. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of working with me.
  • Privacy. If you have questions about privacy, read this Privacy Policy or email me.

Who I share it with

I do not sell your personal information. I don't rent it or trade it either, and I never give it to lead generators or marketing partners. I only share it in these limited cases, and only what's needed:

  • Service providers that help me run my business. This includes website hosting, the form service that delivers your messages, my customer relationship management (CRM) software, my phone, texting, and email providers, and the home search tools described above. They handle your information only to provide their service to me, and they may not use it for their own marketing.
  • My brokerage. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties may receive your name, contact details, and transaction records when needed for your transaction, supervision, and record keeping. This never includes your text message opt-in or consent, and your mobile number is not given to the brokerage for marketing.
  • People you ask me to connect you with. If you ask me to introduce you to a lender, inspector, title or escrow company, or the other side of a deal, I share only what's needed for that purpose, and only with your OK. I never pass along your text message opt-in or consent. If they want to text you, they have to ask you for permission themselves.
  • When the law requires it. I may share information to comply with the law, a court order, or real estate regulations, or to protect the rights and safety of you, me, or others.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How long I keep it, and how I protect it

I keep your information for as long as I need it to help you, and for as long as my brokerage and Nevada real estate rules require me to keep transaction records. After that, I delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

This site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and I limit access to your information to the people and services that need it. No website or system is perfectly secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices

  • Stop texts: reply STOP to any text from me.
  • Stop emails: use the unsubscribe link in the email, or email me and ask.
  • Stop calls: tell me on the phone, or email me and ask.
  • See, fix, or delete your information: email andres.jensen@bhhsnv.com and I'll take care of it. I may need to keep some records my brokerage or the law requires.

Nevada residents: I do not sell personal information. If you want to send a request about the sale of your information anyway, email me and I'll confirm it.

Children

This site is meant for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll post the new version here and change the effective date at the top. If a change affects how I use information you already gave me, I'll ask for your OK first where the law requires it.
